Our three month travel

Over the past 3 months, we’ve been following the Ketogenic Diet.

The Ketogenic Diet is one of several High-Fat-Low-Carb nutritions out there. So, minimum carbs, medium protein, high fatten percentages. This forces their own bodies to burn fat, instead of carbs, for exertion. This process secretes ketones, and sheds your metabolism into ketosis- hence Ketogenic Diet.

This is what we’ve been doing for 3 months now, with certain exceptions of about 3 mislead daylights( we can’t repel sushi, and there was an ice cream tasting that we couldn’t forestall ).

For those of you who belief” but what about pizza, and pasta, and meat, and … nonsense ?”, we’ve got this covered.

We don’t have meat. Haven’t had it since we started. And we don’t pray it, which is great.

We’ve discovered a arrange that draws pizzas with a cauliflower locate, and we’ve even started our own. It’s still a work in progress, so we haven’t had the excellent pizza replacing, but we’re getting there.

There are many alternatives to pasta, and we’ve even become our own lasagna exerting cauliflower and zucchini. It smacks huge, AND we don’t end up carbo-loading after a meal.

For those who want flour-based meat, there’s an alternative for that extremely- almond flour. Or even coconut flour. Actually, the index is too long. We haven’t utilized those because unfortunately I have an allergy to seeds. There goes 3/4 of our Keto food options.

Erin can have them though, so it’s really simply me with limited options.

Canceling carbs

Ever since we started weighing carbs, we’ve realise how much we actually used to take in.

For a low-carb diet, the recommended carb intake per daylight is 30g( for Keto, it’s limited to 20 g ). That sounds like a lot, until you lend the interesting thing up.

30g carbs in every day foods

276 ml of Coke. 1 beaker of rice. 1 banana. 1 donut. 2 dates. 1 pancake. 1 apple. 2 slicings of whole wheat eat.

These are all nearly 30 g of Nett Carbs EACH.

One of these provides takes you over your daily limit of carbs.

So we chipped them all out. We have zero sugar boozings, batch of dark-greens, and protein shakes.

Sugar dependent? We use Xylitol sweetener as a sugar replacement.
