It’s official. We adore celebrating New Year’s Eve in Cabo San Lucas. We did it last year– loved it. We did it again this year- still loved it. The thing about celebrating NYE at home is that, well, it totally blows. You either dress up to go out in the freezing freezing to wait in line and deplete the thousands of dollars on bad drinks and cover charges. Or you stay at home and feel guilty about not going out and lasting simply until 9pm. At least that’s been my experience my part life. So we are currently get TF outta dodge and go to a different country. And luckily Cabo is only a direct 2 hour 45 instant flight away from Denver. Which obliges it unbelievably easy and opportune. Then you wake up in the new year with the daylight rafter down on you and the ocean crashing adjacent. It’s the best.

Last year we LOVED the house we leased, but we meant this trip too late and it was already booked. So instead we witnessed this lieu not extremely far from the other home. The members of this house is located in the Cabo del Sol neighborhood, right on the 1st flaw of the golf course. Which my husband was surely a fan of. And the members of this house was big-hearted and absolutely beautiful. It sleeps 8 comfortably, has a giant living room, pleasant kitchen and breakfast nook, and amazing outdoor cavity for swimming, browning or grilling. Plus it has a rooftop which was awesome for fireworks on NYE. And when I say impressive, I locate that statement off my husband who watched them while I was sleeping. Who needs to stay up until midnight anymore? Not this b* tch.

When we got to the house, we were treated to homemade guacamole and pico de gallo, who the hell is fan-freaking-tastic. And even better than the plies we picked up at Santa Carmela. We patronized at this same organic grocery store last year and loved it so much that we went back again this year to do all of our grocery shopping. I adoration this recognise since I can find some of the same things I use at home like ghee, almond milk, chicken sausages and even coconut butter goblets. It’s the best!

Even though this trip was still lovely as ever because we were in freaking Cabo, it wasn’t quite as sunny as last year. We had much jug eras with lots of glooms which intend lane little impressive sunups and sundowns. And those sunups and sundowns are two of my FAVORITE things about Cabo. And this house genuinely didn’t compare to the one we stayed in its first year before. I think this one just recently became a rental belonging so it didn’t have an instruction manual, which would have come in handy A LOT like when we had issues with lighting the oven and turning on the hot tub. But other than that, it was beautiful and super spacious!

And one of the nice things about is in accordance with the Cabo del Sol neighborhood is that you’re right down the road from the Sheraton Grand Los Cabos Hacienda del Mar. So not only could we grab a alcohol, hang out on the beach, eat at their eatery, get a cab in seconds, and grab last minute forgotten parts like hot sauce from their convenient store, we likewise could also stop in their gym and spa! And that’s exactly what we did on the day the chaps went golfing. First workout, then facial. Not bad for the first day in Cabo!

Now for the nutrient !! This trip to Cabo had some AWESOME food! Whenever I ask for recommendations on social media, it’s almost always the same diners and I’ve been to a few of those place and have been less than impressed. I consider the majority of members of those diners are recommended for their views and experience. But this B really wants to eat. Luckily our Uber driver on the first night recommended Nicksan because his friend succeeded there. And since we didn’t know where we wanted to eat, we said F it and applied it extend. And I’m SO GLAD we did. This sushi distinguish is PHENOMENAL. I loved it so much. Most likely because they have lobster curry on the menu. Where have you ever knew lobster-freaking-curry ?? If you have already knowledge it somewhere, I detest you. I’ve never even heard of it. Never even considered it. So when I investigated it on the menu, I told it for myself. We were sharing meals at the table and this was a definite no-share statu. I frankly require my last meal to be some sort of curry recipe and if I would have died that night, I would have died the happiest little madam around. I’m kind of pissed we didn’t go back.

Another brand-new recognize we hit up was Los Tres Gallos. We went on this trip to Cabo with another duet and my brother-in-law and the couple had been to this restaurant before and enjoy it. It’s this adorable little eatery downtown that is open-air with trees and plants everywhere and a rooftop off to the side with rugs and heaters, which was very helpful that night. Amazingly while in Cabo this time around, we ascertained it rather challenging to get a good margarita while we were out. We had some great homemade watermelon margs that my husband made and a few savory perceiving spicy margs at the Sherton, but it was tough everywhere else. Well Los Tres Gallos did not disillusion with their savory boozings. And they dish them in Clase Azul tequila bottles that have been cut down in to vast glasses. I desire them! And if you ever extend here, require the carnitas! They were so damn appetizing!

Now a spot that I absolutely adored but made no photos at because I was a tad very bustled was Tacos Guss. I’m surprised this place wasn’t recommended by more beings because it is AWESOME. Probably because it’s a hole in the wall and maybe beings judge I’m looking for something fancier, but all I genuinely care about is nutrient. I croaked in for the full suffer and had one of the tacos with the flour tortilla and I also tried my BIL’s quesadilla and all of it was so damn good. The quesadilla was perhaps the most wonderful quesadilla I’ve ever had in “peoples lives”. But please remember, I haven’t had a real quesadilla in 10 years, so impede that in thinker. Either highway, the flesh was insanely good and it’s served with a huge plate of veggies, pico and salsas on the side. I will perfectly unquestionably 100% be going back to this place next time we honcho to Cabo!

Another spot we stopped at was Flora Farms. BUT we made a reservation last minute for a 9pm dinner and I do not recommend this. The whole thing about Flora Farms is the experience. It’s a farm, duh, with a ton of ground that offers a spa, cooking classes, and even arranges to stand. But it’s far AF if you’re staying in downtown Cabo. So if you make a reservation at 9pm and don’t is an indication before sunset at 5:30 pm, you ain’t seeing sh* t. We got there at 7pm conceiving we would enjoy merely hanging out at the bar, having imbibes before dinner, and exploring the farm. Well problem is, YOU CAN’T Insure SH* T so unless you like looking at arts and wine-coloured, it’s not quite as exciting. Specially when starving and edgy. So instead we got our nutrient to drive. I prescribed the vegetable risotto. It was appetizing even when coldnes after our 40 time taxi journey dwelling. Run in the daytime, ok?

And for the last recognize we ingest at…Diamante Cabo San Lucas. So here’s a bit back narrative about me and my husband- on vacation I prefer to not do much. I like to eat, booze, lay by the consortium and work out. That’s my various kinds of vacation. Now he really likes to stay moving at all times of the day and his current favorite push is golf. He’s preoccupied. So when we heard about the Diamante Cabo San Lucas dimension, we decided to check it out so he could golf and I could feed. The chicken was delicious.

And while we were at Diamante Cabo San Lucas, we decided to become members !! Since we went to Cabo 3 times in a year in 2018, we thought it was probably time to find a recognize that we wanted to go back to tour after trip-up. We like renting rooms BUT not ever knowing what you’re going to get can be a little traumatic. And we don’t go to Cabo for stress. So after touring this property and cherishing the amenities, we constructed the decision to make this spot our trip end from now on!

PaleOMG Cabo Recap

This property is monumental and it offers a sea, a beings blue-blooded pond, 2 golf courses, multiple gyms and fitness first-class, a spa, one tonne of kitties and many eateries. And it’s still proliferating it is therefore will give even more in the future! Which wants my husband can walk from our plaza to the golf course, I can always join him in the golf go-cart since they have a snack shop every 3 holes, and then I can leave at any point and entertain myself the rest of the time. It’s the excellent equilibrium for our own trip needs.

PaleOMG Cabo Recap

And now that we are members, we just is therefore necessary to programme our next trip down there !! It’s so fun to have a place that both of us desire so much and are looking forward to staying at. No more figuring out where we are going next time we thoughts to Cabo. And I absolutely adoration that! The only thing we really need to worry about at this point is when I’m going to get more lobster curry. That’s high on the priority list next time we go back. No sharing involved.
