Fat, juicy, super healthful, and absolutely vegan cauliflower burgers!
Cauliflower Burgers- 6 Ingredients
A few weeks ago in an interrogation, I was asked what meat vogues I thoughts would be big in 2019.
The first thing that came back my memory was cauliflower.
Who could forget this shockingly luscious Cauliflower Chocolate Cake ??
Food trends come and go, but cauliflower has staying power because it lives up to the promotion- it’s an astoundingly versatile ingredient you can use in so many different ways, and I’ve been affixing surprising cauliflower recipes, such as Panda Express Orange Cauliflower or cauliflower mush potatoes, since all the practice back in 2008!
I’m not even going to link to those because they’re such embarrassingly age-old posts! But both recipes exist if you certainly want to find them on my blog.
The internet never forgets.
Despite what some media shops are reporting, cauliflower is still going to be a big menu trend for 2019 and beyond. You can quote me on this.
For the record, my other food-trend prophecies for this year include: oat milk, CBD, sprouts( peculiarly creatively, such as with chocolate ), anything keto( hi Keto Ice Cream !), and plant-based flesh alternatives.
Mark my statements, plant-based flesh is going to be huge in the next few years. Even companies such as Tyson Foods have started to take notice and invest!
But going back to these cauliflower veggie burgers …
They are easy to meet, delicious and fill, and totally plant-based. And since–as even their impression proves–they’re clearly not trying to masquerade as a beef replacement, both vegans and meat-eaters can enjoy the burgers in their own , not in comparison to something else.
I chose to serve mine on buns with all the burger fixings, but they are just as good without the buns if you want to serve them as patties, perhaps with gravy or a area of Vegan Mac And Cheese ???
Funny Story: When I went to the grocery store for supplies to form these burgers, I’d been hoping to find sesame seed buns , not just as much for the preference as for the photos; the camera cherishes texture.
The only buns with sesame grains on the shelf are relevant for four times the price, with a mile-long listing of other parts and preservatives, so I bought plain whole-wheat buns instead, took them dwelling, covered a minuscule quantity of maple syrup on the exceeds, and dispersed on my own sesame seeds.
Cauliflower Burgers- Really 6 Parts!

8 beakers cauliflower florets( about 1 huge)
1 tbsp broiling powder
2 tsp baked oregano
1/2 tsp garlic pulverization
2/3 cups flour( spelt, lily-white, oat, gf ap, etc. Books say almond flour too manipulates)
1 tsp salt
1/4 cup+ 2 tbsp irrigate
Steam cauliflower florets until fall-apart soft. Drain fully. Once cauliflower cools, place in a clean dish towel or cheesecloth over a drop or container, and mash as much irrigate out as you maybe can. You require it super cool. Situate the squeezed-out cauliflower in a container. Whisk all remaining ingredients in a separate container, then add to the cauliflower and mash is a good one. Shape into burgers with your hands. You can either fry the patties in a little petroleum over medium heat( snapping halfway through ), or preheat the oven to 400 F and bake 10 hours on a parchment-lined roasting sheet, then snap and cook 10 more instants or until thinly browned and crispy.
